A Selig / Plycraft 1970s lounge chair in brown leather, walnut plywood shell and chrome four star base.
This American mid-century lounge chair in the manner of the Eames lounge chair is a great statement piece in any home.
Condition:
The original leather is in good overall condition. There are signs of wear to the arms and some marks on the seat consistent with age.
There is a small oil patch on the head rest leather which is a common occurrence with these chairs but does not distract from the aesthetics in any way.
The walnut shell is in good condition with only minor marks on some of the edges. The chrome base and feet are in good condition with one of the end caps missing on the base worthy of note.
There is some slight wear to the chrome base and head rest arms in places but nothing that a notable change in aesthetics.
The chair has a working tilt mechanism which is designed by Frank Doerner, 1975.
